1. How much does a mobile app cost?

Apps are quoted per project. Most fall between RM30,000 and RM200,000. The range is wide because an app is rarely only an app - there is usually a web dashboard behind it and an API connecting the two, and those are most of the work.

2. How long does it take to build?

Typically 30 to 90 days depending on complexity, assuming the requirements are settled and the materials are ready.

3. Do you build native apps or cross-platform?

We build in Flutter, which produces a genuine iOS app and a genuine Android app from one codebase. For the kind of business apps we build - ordering, membership, field operations, delivery - it gives you both platforms without paying to build everything twice.

4. Are iOS and Android quoted together or separately?

Usually together, since one Flutter codebase produces both. We can quote them separately if you only want one to start with.

5. Do you handle submitting the app to the App Store and Google Play?

Yes. For most apps we can publish under our own developer accounts and take care of the submission and the review process, including the rejections that are a normal part of it. Financial and medical apps have to be published under the client's own account because of the stores' rules. If you would rather use your own account in any case, authorise us on it and we will work from there.

6. Is there an ongoing cost after launch?

Store listings cost RM500 per year per platform to maintain, which covers keeping the app compliant as Apple and Google change their requirements - which they do every year, and an app that is not updated eventually gets removed.

7. Can the app connect to the systems we already run?

Yes, that is most of what we do. We have connected apps to accounting systems including AutoCount, SQL Accounting, Bukku and Xero, to POS systems, to payment gateways and to courier APIs.

8. What happens if we find a bug after launch?

There is a one year warranty covering bugs and small adjustments. Beyond that, maintenance contracts run annually from RM1,100 a month.

9. Can the app work without an internet connection?

Parts of it can. Offline mode is built per feature - viewing data already downloaded, filling in a form, recording a delivery - and the device syncs when it reconnects. Anything that needs live data from the server cannot work offline, so the first conversation is about which screens genuinely need it.
